In 2018, The Lost Lending Library travelled to Australia, as part of the Festival 2018 programme celebrating the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

The Library visited two primary schools in Queensland and during the Commonwealth Games could be discovered within ‘Coastal Curiosities’ – a fictional travelling museum of that was found in Kurrawa Park.

The Lost Lending Library was co-produced for Festival 2018 by Punchdrunk and Imaginary Theatre, a Brisbane-based company that creates arts and arts experiences for and with children and their communities and supported by City of Gold Coast.
